Welcome To The Cabin. Well, we’ve finally come to the day we both officially retire. We’ve bought a cabin and are moving to the mountains. I wanted to tell my loyal readers what’s been going on. It’s going to be a while before I’m able to post any of the new recipes I’ve been working on for the past couple of months.

Our new home will be equipped with a gas stove, a countertop gas range, and a gas fireplace. I’m also putting in an under-the-counter wine fridge. I’ve always wanted one of those. I’ll have a room specifically for my pantry, that’s going to be so cool.

I know most of you know how, somehow, you can accumulate a lot of stuff over the years, and packing is a big job! The other thing is, we are going to be doing some major renovations to the cabin. The first big job is the kitchen. I’ve always wanted a kitchen where I’m able to design every detail. It’s going to be awesome!
