

This is a 4-ingredient recipe for Soft Pretzel Bites that is handy if you need an appetizer in a pinch. They’re everything you love about a soft pretzel without any of the fuss in making the dough.

Yields: 8 servings (48 pretzel bites)
Equipment: cutting board, chef’s knife, 6 qt. Pot, 1/4 cup measure, large slotted spoon. 1/2-sized rimmed baking sheet pan, pastry cutter, parchment paper/silicone mat
Ingredients:
5 cups water
1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) of baking soda
1 (16 oz) can of store-bought biscuits, Pillsbury Southern Homestyle Grands
4 tbsps coarse pretzel salt (substitute coarse sea salt)
Options for Dipping Sauces:
Cheese sauce, yellow mustard, or honey mustard are optional for dipping
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 400° F.
Line a baking pan with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
In the meantime, take each biscuit and roll it out into a cylinder shape. Cut each cylinder-shaped biscuit into 6 equal pieces. Once the water boils, drop the biscuit pieces into the baking soda bath (only 8 to 10 at a time) for 15 to 20 seconds.
Serve immediately with your favorite cheese sauce or honey mustard for dipping.

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400° F.Line a baking pan with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.In the meantime, take each biscuit and roll it out into a cylinder shape. Once the water boils, drop the biscuit pieces into the baking soda bath (only 8 to 10 at a time) for 15 to 20 seconds.Add 5 cups of water to a medium saucepan, sprinkle the baking soda, and bring the water to a rolling boil. Using a slotted spoon or spatula, remove the puffed biscuit bites from the baking soda bath and transfer them to your prepared baking sheet. Repeat with all the remaining biscuit pieces. Sprinkle the tops with coarse salt and bake for 20-22 minutes or until deep golden brown. Serve immediately with your favorite cheese sauce or honey mustard for dipping.
