Piccino is located in the dogpatch neighborhood at 1001 Minnesota St. San Francisco, CA, 94107. They offer great tasting uncomplicated food.  Modern rustic Italian fare, creative small plates, and thin crust pizza. My daughter, Melissa, was there recently for a working lunch and sent back these pictures for me to share. She ordered the Strozzapretzi, which from the menu sounds delicious. The dish includes asparagus, preserved lemon, capers, slow cooked egg, garlic crema, farro, tagliatelle, pancetta, and braised cabbage. Melissa, who lives meat- free, had them leave the pancetta out of her dish, but I;m sure it was just as delicious. Anyway, if you live, or are planning to visit the Bay area, this is just another “little gem” I thought I’d share with you.
