Let's Dish With Linda Lou

Sharing My Recipes, My Life, And The Food Tale Of Two Cities

Cheesy Pull Apart Bread

Image

This couldn’t be easier or more delicious. First start out with a boule. That’s just French for ball.

Score the bread almost all the way through,

Now in a bowl comes the good stuff. 2 sticks of room temperature unsalted butter. 1/4 cup of finely chopped sun dried tomatoes. 1 1/2 cups of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. 3 cloves of grated garlic. 1/2 a teaspoon of kosher salt, 1/2 a teaspoon of black pepper, and last around 5 basil leaves chopped finely. After this is mixed, just stuff all the crevasses of the bread with this goodness.

In a 350 degree oven bake the bread for about 20-25 minutes, then pull it out and sprinkle the top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Now for it’s close-up. You won’t believe how good this is.

Rain Lilies

Image

I have to say that I made a great choice in planting these babies. Florida, also known as the Sunshine State, gets its share of rain. During the summer months down here these darlings are blooming like crazy.

La Note Restaurant Provencal

Image

Another great find, thanks to Melissa is La Note. Located in downtown Berkeley, CA. a traditional bistro with breakfast and lunch fare along with rustic Provencal dinners in a quaint atmosphere. Just from the  pictures, Melissa just sent to me, I can tell you I’ve already fallen in love with this place. On my next visit to see my daughter, I will be dining here. Here’s a few more pics of Melissa’s visit to La Note.
