Let's Dish With Linda Lou

Sharing My Recipes, My Life, And The Food Tale Of Two Cities

Rosa Mexicano In San Francisco

Image

For quite some time now, I’ve been posting, great restaurants to visit in the San Francisco area, thanks to my daughter. She is just as much of a foodie as I am, and they have so much in the way of unique eats in the Bay Area.

I love to spread the word on great cuisine. Here at Rosa Mexicano, they do a Bento box style of serving their food. The Rosa Mexicano is located in the Financial District, on 30 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA. They do offer catering, reservations and you can get a look at their full menu on their website at www.rosamexicano.com.

Melissa ordered the bento box that had veggies made of corn, carrots, and kale, a fish taco with jalapeno tartar, chips and guacamole, and finally an espresso flan. Her entire meal looked so delicious. I so wish I was there with her.

I’m posting this quaint little place both in two of my categories, both in College Park and in local information. In College Park, we as a community support our small local businesses any way we can. We even have a “Small Business Saturday” dedicated to it.

Owner Vanessa Falcone opened her shop around one month ago. It’s located right on Edgewater Drive, in a small strip plaza across from the Publix. So let’s talk about what this shop has to offer. You can have your choice of a variety of gelatos, or how about some freshly made pasta. Next, to the gelato selection, there is an antipasto bar, with some wonderful choices of olives and other goodies.

They also have an espresso machine, so if you would like to have a cup of Italian coffee, it’s ready and waiting for you while you wait for your pasta. This store also offers you an eclectic array of “readily available” Italian specialty items.
