Cheesy Garlic bread

on October 8, 2013

I start by buying a good loaf of ciabatta  bread.  I cut it in half down the center of the loaf and open into two halves.  Take one stick of unsalted room temperature butter mix in two cloves of grated garlic, two tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley, and one tablespoon of chopped fresh oregano and and you have a compound butter.  Slather that over both halves. I then take a package of shredded Italian cheese mixture and put that on top of the butter mixture of one half,  Then I put the two halves together and wrap in tin foil.  Preheat oven to 400 degrees and cook for about 20 minutes.  It’s so delicious for mopping up the extra sauce that you made today.ImageImageImage
